KENTAVR 404SD is a versatile all-wheel drive (4×4) tractor designed for work on farms, in orchards, fields, and in municipal services. Equipped with a durable engine, improved transmission, and a powerful hitch system, this tractor ensures stable operation with various equipment even in challenging conditions.
Engine
The heart of the model is a KM490BT diesel engine with a volume of 2545 cm³ and a power of 40 HP (29.4 kW). The 4-cylinder design provides high torque and stable traction. The fuel system with fine filtration (CX70100) and electric flame plug preheating of intake air ensures easy starting in cold weather. The cooling system is closed-type with a radiator and forced circulation. Air filtration is carried out through a 4-stage filter with an oil bath, located at the top. Fuel consumption is ≤245 g/kWh, which highlights the model's efficiency.
Transmission and Chassis
The gearbox is mechanical, with a reduction gear (3+1)×2, allowing movement at speeds from 0.39 to 31.97 km/h forward, and up to 12.76 km/h backward. The 2-disc clutch allows smooth shifting even under high loads. The braking system is drum-type, with dual pedals and a parking brake. There is a differential lock and a front axle that can be disengaged. This expands the functional capabilities of the equipment. The steering is hydrostatic with a separate tank and pump, ensuring easy control even with a full load.
Design and Hitch System
The tractor has a rear 3-point hitch system with a hydraulic lift that can withstand up to 550 kg of load. The hydraulics are controlled by a three-mode single-section distributor with a safety valve. There are 2 hydraulic outlets with quick couplers, controlled from the main distributor. The PTO rotates at speeds of 640 / 800 rpm, allowing simultaneous operation with an attached implement and a trailer. The hydraulic system has a separate oil tank of 6.5 L. The fuel tank is 35 L, ensuring long autonomous operation.
Comfort and Electrical Equipment
The shock-absorbing seat is adjustable for distance to the steering wheel. The instrument panel is analog-light, with all necessary indicators. Equipment includes a moisture-resistant trailer socket, main headlights, marker lights, turn signals, and a 750 W generator. Metal fenders, a toolbox, and convenient placement of controls make working with the tractor pleasant and safe.
