The KENTAVR 160BN model is a durable mini-tractor with a 16 hp diesel engine, designed for cultivating household plots, greenhouse complexes, and light transport tasks. It features a balanced design, increased ground clearance, and versatility in use.
Engine
At the heart of the tractor is a JD16 diesel engine with a volume of 709 cm³, featuring a horizontal cylinder and direct fuel injection. Manual and electric starters ensure convenient starting in any conditions. The engine has a contact-oil 4-stage filter, a combined lubrication system, a decompressor for easy starting, and an efficient cooling system.
Transmission and Chassis
The mechanical gear transmission with two ranges allows for precise speed selection — from 2.2 to 22.7 km/h. The transmission works with a two-disc dry clutch, and the rear axle has differential lock. Drum brakes, a parking brake, quick steering handle, and an increased ground clearance of 280 mm ensure control and maneuverability even on rough terrain.
Hitch System and Hydraulics
The hydraulic system is built on a separate gear pump with a 4-liter tank. Control is via a four-position hydraulic distributor with a floating mode. The walk-behind tractor type hitch system allows the use of basic towed equipment. The increased agro-technical clearance of 350 mm allows for effective work in row spacing.
