Hypothermia Prevention Management Kit

The Hypothermia Prevention Management Kit from North American Rescue is a patented hypothermia prevention kit based on the CoTCCC recommended HPMK® with an enhanced design and an additional insulating layer placed both front and back of the patient. The kit provides up to 10 hours of continuous dry heat thanks to the 4-Cell Ready Heat® self-heating blanket, which is oxygen-activated and requires no external power source. The new 5-layer composite fabric with a non-conductive reflective layer and additional insulation improves heat retention even when wet.

The HRS-I™ — the kit's durable outer shell, made from Heat Reflective Shell-Insulated™ material — features an integrated hood and a top-to-bottom tapered shape to maximize isothermal properties. The design includes continuous 1.5-inch hook and loop fasteners around the perimeter for 360° rapid access to the casualty with minimal element detachment. The kit has an integrated casualty extraction system, reinforced material tested to 250 lbs, and vacuum packaging in a durable plastic bag for compact storage and transport.
