Description and Purpose
The mat is lightweight, durable, and reliable, taking up minimal space in your gear. It is suitable for sitting on wet ground, cold stone, or metal thanks to its moisture- and wear-resistant Cordura 1000D fabric. Inside, two layers of resilient foam provide comfortable seating, while a plastic sheet offers additional protection against mechanical impacts.
Functionality
- Ability to install a ballistic package measuring 39.5×29.5 cm through a special hook-and-loop opening; one foam layer can be removed and replaced with an armor element.
- Soft ballistic fragmentation protection can be purchased separately and is not included in the set.
- Belt carrying straps: side wing-shaped straps are sewn at an angle, with an elastic band secured inside them, which transitions into a regular webbing strap on the outside — this prevents skin pinching and does not restrict movement.
- The straps fasten with a quick-release buckle; one of the straps has a significant length adjustment range — up to 93 cm, with the free end secured by an elastic band.
- Ability to attach to a MOLLE system or hang on a regular belt using two vertical attachments with hook-and-loop loops; the attachments are length-adjustable and equipped with quick-release buckles for fast removal/attachment without lacing.
