Features of AGM battery production

Inside an AGM battery, porous insulating separators of thin fiberglass are placed. The separators and electrode plates are tightly pressed against each other. Thus, there is no free liquid electrolyte between the battery plates, as it is contained within the separator and the active part of the electrodes.

The amount of liquid electrolyte is dosed so that small pores are filled with acid, while larger ones ensure gas circulation.

The battery design features an improved gas recombination system – oxygen and hydrogen, formed as a result of chemical processes, do not escape beyond the sealed casing before condensation.

1. Do not frequently discharge the battery by more than 30% of its capacity (consider this when calculating battery capacity)
2. After discharge, the battery must be fully charged with a current of 1/10 of its capacity for 10 hours

IMPORTANT! If a group of several batteries is used, connected in parallel or in series, then:

• all batteries must have the same capacity,
• be of the same type (AGM, GEL, or MG),
• have the same voltage, the same number of charge/discharge cycles,
• be from the same batch of the same brand.
