Description and Purpose
This model is designed to almost completely enclose the tourniquet, protecting it from dirt, moisture, and damage, while ensuring the fastest possible extraction. The design features double protection: a first flap with a “tongue” that fastens with Velcro and tucks into an elastic pocket, and a second outer flap with Velcro. This system allows the tourniquet to be securely held inside the pouch and simultaneously extracted without unnecessary movements in a stressful situation.
Design Features
- Internal structure: two mirror-image pockets located at the edges of the pouch for placing the tourniquet in an unfolded state; when properly folded, the tourniquet is immediately ready for use.
- Retainers: elastic bands are sewn onto one of the pockets to retain a marker and small scissors.
- Attachment: vertical attachment to the MOLLE system with one strap; possibility of horizontal wear on a belt up to 50 mm wide by threading the belt through the MOLLE loops.
