Design and Operation Features
The pouch flap, 14.5 cm long, is secured with Velcro and has adjustable fixation, allowing it to be adapted to the length of a specific tourniquet. A tab at the end of the flap allows for quick and easy one-handed opening of the pouch. A letter «T» is embroidered on the flap as a written mark, so that in a stressful situation, the purpose of the pouch is not mistaken.
The sides are made of elastic material, allowing the pouch to adapt to the volume of its contents and securely hold the tourniquet. The back wall is reinforced with a double layer of durable fabric, ensuring the pouch retains its shape even with intensive use. The pouch is designed for attachment to a single MOLLE system strap, making it universal for most modern vests and panels.
The extended free ends of two cells can serve as additional attachments for scissors or other tools — these ends are secured with Velcro and a snap button. Through the straps with a snap button, the pouch can also be hung on a belt in a horizontal position. Two elastic bands for a marker are integrated on the side, used to mark the time of tourniquet application — a critically important option when providing first aid.
