Design Features
The pouch features a 3 cm high lid secured with Velcro and attached to the upper edge of a 20 cm long flap with Velcro. Externally, the lid is equipped with a strap loop-handle for easy one-handed opening. At the basic level of opening, a tourniquet can be inserted or removed, and if necessary, the flap can be fully opened to the very bottom of the pouch. Soft Velcro strips are sewn to the longitudinal edges of the inner flaps, to which the flap with rigid Velcro is attached. At the bottom, the flaps are additionally connected by a 2.5×2.5 cm transverse Velcro strap.
An empty pouch has a thickness of about 1 cm and can expand up to 5 cm when filled. The product does not have rigid inserts, but the dense fabric holds its shape well. The pouch is laced to equipment with a single MOLLE strap, ensuring secure attachment to body armor or a backpack. Inside, there is an elastic loop for a marker used to note the time of tourniquet application. Externally, a 6×5 cm Velcro panel is sewn on the front for attaching a medical patch. To prevent the accumulation of small debris and moisture, the design includes two drainage holes at the bottom of the pouch.
