The KASHTAN CAN Node-L431 peripheral node from the KASHTAN brand is a compact and reliable module of Ukrainian production, designed for building modern unmanned systems and robotics. The device is manufactured at our own production facilities in Ukraine; each unit undergoes quality control and testing, which guarantees stable operation in field conditions.
Description and Purpose
The KASHTAN CAN HUB-L431 is built on the energy-efficient STM32L431 microcontroller (STM32L431xC series, 256 KB flash memory). The module operates under the control of ArduPilot AP_Periph (CAN-L431) firmware and uses the DroneCAN protocol for data exchange with ArduPilot-compatible controllers via the CAN bus. Firmware updates are supported via the DroneCAN GUI Tool. Thanks to its small dimensions and low power consumption, the node is easily integrated into drones, ground robotic platforms, and other embedded systems.
The board is designed for connecting external peripherals: GPS modules, barometers, airspeed sensors, compasses, and other sensors via UART, I2C interfaces, or analog inputs. Its light weight and compact size allow the module to be used where mass and limited space are critical.

Advantages and Applications
The KASHTAN CAN HUB-L431 stands out for its Ukrainian origin, full compatibility with ArduPilot and DroneCAN, a wide range of interfaces (CAN, I2C, UART, analog inputs), and low power consumption (approximately 40 mA). Its compact dimensions (27 × 27 × 12 mm) and low weight (3.7 g) make the module an optimal choice for integration into drones, mobile workstations, and robotic platforms that require reliable data exchange within an operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. The technical parameters, interfaces, and package contents comply with the original specification and allow for easy planning of sensor and actuator integration.
