The model's design was developed by American knifemaker of Slovak origin Mike Gavko (Gavko Knives), known for his transition from fixed high-performance blades to compact folding solutions. The design idea is aimed at practicality and convenience in field conditions.
The blade is made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel — a high-quality alloy with increased corrosion resistance and safe for contact with food products due to the absence of phosphorus and sulfur. The blade finish is Black Stonewashed, which masks scratches and gives the knife a stylish look.
The handle is made of G10 fiberglass laminate — a composite material based on fiberglass fabric and epoxy resins. G10 is characterized by high strength, impact resistance, moisture resistance, and durability. Outwardly, the material resembles micarta but surpasses it in terms of strength and fire resistance. The ergonomic handle shape and milled texture ensure a comfortable and secure grip in any conditions.
The knife has a black metal clip for secure pocket retention. The simplicity and robustness of the design guarantee many years of operation even with intensive use.
