Description of NOWA AJY 1100-5060-24 Jet Pump Station
The NOWA AJY 1100-5060-24 jet pump station is designed to automatically provide a stable, uninterrupted supply of clean cold water to residential, domestic, and commercial facilities, as well as other consumers. Water intake can be carried out from pressurized local or main water pipelines to increase water pressure in the consumer's system, or from open water sources such as wells, boreholes, swimming pools, reservoirs, etc.
The station can be used autonomously or as part of branched multi-level automatic water supply systems, as well as in irrigation systems.
Depending on the water consumption by consumers, the station automatically maintains the set pressure range in the water supply system by timely switching the pump on and off.
The NOWA AJY 1100-5060-24 jet pump station is equipped with a cantilever rotary centrifugal self-priming pump of the JY series with an internal ejector. Pumps of this type ensure the stability of water flow parameters when operating conditions change. They are most often used when it is necessary to obtain a large volume of pumped water while ensuring the stability of water flow characteristics and avoiding the need to prime the pump with water at each start-up. To avoid frequent pump switching on and off, and to ensure that the pressure in the system changes smoothly rather than abruptly, the station's design includes a 24-liter hydro accumulator (steel expansion tank with an elastic membrane).
The pump station is not intended for pumping mineral and sea water, chemically active, aggressive, and flammable liquids and solutions. The water pumped by the pump station must not contain abrasive particles or long-fiber inclusions.
Operating conditions for NOWA AJY 1100-5060-24 Jet Pump Station:
- abrasive particle size must not exceed 0.05 mm;
- total content of mechanical impurities in water must not exceed 20 g/m³;
- water must not have a high degree of mineralization — no more than 1500 g/m³ in dry residue;
- acidity (pH) must be in the range of 6.5 to 9.5;
- chloride content — no more than 350 g/m³, hydrogen sulfide — no more than 1.5 g/m³;
- operating temperature range of pumped water — from +4 °С to +40 °С;
- suction depth no more than 8 m.
