Description of Kentavr MB 40-1C/G-2F Power Tiller (4.00-8 wheels)
The MB40-1C/G-2F power tiller is a new addition to the Kentavr line of gasoline power tillers.
It excels at tilling soil in small and medium-sized plots with various soil types. However, the MB40-1C/G-2F can also handle larger areas – it will just take a little more time.
The MB40-1C/G-2F is excellent for cultivating soil in places where it is difficult or impossible to use a tractor. This includes between vineyards, under bushes, in garden beds, flower beds, greenhouses, and so on.
Working with the MB40-1C/G-2F is simple. The main advantage of this power tiller is significantly less strain on the operator's arms compared to other medium-power models. A person without good physical fitness can work with it easily and comfortably.
The reduced strain is due to a layout characteristic of much more powerful professional machines, namely – the rotary tiller is positioned at the rear and driven by a separate chain reducer.
In turn, the forward or backward movement of the entire unit is achieved thanks to the drive wheels with a 4.00-8 chevron "herringbone" tread.
This power tiller design offers numerous advantages, making it much easier, more convenient, and more efficient to work with.
Gearbox. The improved gearbox with 2 forward gears and 1 reverse will allow you to perform any cultivation and soil tilling tasks. The presence of neutral means the power tiller can be moved without the engine running.
The tiller lever has 3 positions – forward rotation/off/reverse rotation.
The gasoline engine power is 7 hp. This is quite sufficient for cultivating most soil types, with the exception of rocky soils.
Even if plant residues or weeds are present in the soil, they are easily ground by the rotary tiller, which rotates at a high speed of up to 565 rpm.
The main thing is to clean the tiller blades in time. For convenient cleaning of the tiller, the rear part of the protective fender is made foldable.
The handlebar is adjustable in height and direction.
Compatibility with attachments. Another significant advantage of the MB-40-1C/G-2F power tiller over conventional cultivators is the ability to work with other attachments. A hiller, plow, or flat cutter can be installed (via a special adapter hitch). Thanks to the ability to disengage the tiller – this will be quite convenient.
By the way, if the soil is loose, metal lugs can be installed instead of pneumatic wheels for better traction. Thus, by choosing the MB-40-1C/G-2F power tiller, you get a reliable and versatile assistant for any farm.
