The Fenix TK16 V2.0 is a weapon-mounted flashlight that stands out for its high power in a small size. The APF system, developed by Fenix engineers, enhances command transmission efficiency and allows for a maximum brightness of 3100 lm. The Luminus SST70 LED has a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours and is equipped with thermal protection: when heated to 60 °C, the system automatically limits power for safe operation and restores turbo mode after cooling.
Construction, Materials, and Protection
The body is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy (A6061-T6) with anodizing, which increases resistance to chips and scratches while maintaining a low weight of 112 g without the battery. The lens is made of ultra-clear glass with an anti-reflective coating. The strike bezel, made of tungsten-containing steel, adds durability and can be used as an auxiliary tool in critical situations. The IP68 protection level ensures reliable operation in rain, snow, and even when submerged up to 2 meters.
Controls and Modes
The model has 6 modes: Turbo, High, Mid, Low, Eco, and Strobe. Control is performed using the tail-cap buttons: the small button switches modes and activates the strobe, while the large tactical button allows for silent illumination or quick activation of the main mode. This operating logic is convenient for tactical and everyday use.
