Control is implemented using a rotating mechanical switch — simple step-by-step rotation of the ring switches modes sequentially. The body is made of durable A6061-T6 aluminum with premium HAIII anodizing, and CNC machining ensures structural precision. In the head part, under the switch, there are deep cooling fins for heat dissipation when operating at high brightness levels.

Power and Charging

Power is provided by one 21700-size Li-ion battery; the package includes a proprietary ARB-L21-5000 V2.0 battery, designed for high current consumption. Important: the ARB-L21-5000 version without the V2.0 designation is not suitable for the PD40R V3.0 due to the flashlight's operating current exceeding 14 A. The flashlight's operating voltage is 2.8 V - 4.2 V. The model is equipped with a waterproof USB Type-C charging port, a charging cable is included, and full charging takes about 3 hours; thanks to Type-C, the device can be charged from a portable Power Bank in the field.
