Fenix LR60R Handheld Flashlight
Brand: Fenix. This model combines a powerful spotlight beam and convenient ergonomics for applications where lighting is critical for safety — search and rescue operations, construction site work, and extreme sports. The Fenix LR60R is designed for those who need a long-range, bright, and reliable portable light.
The flashlight's maximum brightness is 21000 lumens, and the beam distance reaches 1085 meters. The device is equipped with 13 LEDs: 1 x Luminus SFT70 and 12 x Lumileds SST40 with a lifespan of up to 50000 hours; the light color temperature is 6000K (cool beam), which provides greater range compared to warmer hues.
OLED Display and Indication
An OLED display is located at the top, showing the current light output, remaining runtime, and battery charge level. Next to the display is a USB Type-C port for charging; during charging, the display automatically turns on and shows the charging process.
Operating Modes (10 modes)
The interface includes an extended set of modes: long-range search modes and close-range camping modes. A total of 10 operating modes are divided into two groups.
Search Modes (Long-Range)

Overheat Protection and Proximity Sensor
When operating at high power, the body accumulates heat; therefore, intelligent overheat protection is provided, which activates at a temperature of ~60°C and reduces brightness to a safe level, after which full power returns once the electronics cool down. A built-in proximity sensor also automatically switches the flashlight to Eco mode if the flashlight head is ≤60 cm from an object for more than 1 second, to prevent overheating or ignition of materials; brightness returns to the initial level after the head moves >60 cm away for ~1.2 seconds.
Control
Control is implemented via a simple and reliable mechanical rotary switch. Rotating the switch in either direction turns on the light; returning it to the initial position turns off the flashlight. To switch to the search mode group, rotate the switch clockwise when the flashlight is off, and rotating it counter-clockwise activates the camping modes. Selecting a specific mode is done by step-by-step rotation within the selected group (search: Eco → Low → Medium → High → Turbo; camping: Medium → High → Turbo → SOS → Strobe).
Power Source and Charging
The operating voltage of the Fenix LR60R is 14.4 V. Power is supplied by the included pack of 4 rechargeable batteries, each with 4000 mAh (proprietary cells, compatible only with this model). Replacing the batteries with other li-ion analogs is not recommended, as it may damage the device. The USB Type-C port supports fast charging when using a 45W or higher adapter — a full charge takes no more than 1.5 hours. In addition to the input port, the flashlight has a USB-A output (20W), allowing the device to be used as a portable Power Bank for charging gadgets.
Construction, Housing, and Protection
The housing is made of A6061-T6 aluminum with an anodized finish, which increases wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The head features multiple heat dissipation fins for efficient heat dissipation. Operating temperature range: -30°C to +45°C. The dust and water protection level is IP68, allowing operation for up to 4 hours underwater at a depth of 2 meters. Impact resistance — drops from a height of up to 1 meter. A threaded connection for tripod mounting is also provided.
