Fenix HM75R Headlamp

Brand: Fenix. Despite its recognizable design, the Fenix HM75R headlamp offers innovative features for professional and outdoor use. The model is designed for operation in challenging conditions: mining enterprises, rock climbing, long hikes, and other activities where reliable, powerful, and flexible lighting is required.

The Fenix HM75R is equipped with four LEDs: 1 x Luminus SST40 (6500K), 2 x Luminus SST20 (4000K), and 1 x red OSRAM GR QSSPA1.23. Each diode is responsible for a separate group of modes. A key feature is the Power Xtend System, which allows power from two separate elements (a main 18650 in the battery compartment and an external 21700 attached to the head strap at the back of the head), significantly extending operating time. Optionally, only the main battery can be used.

It features intelligent brightness reduction technology: the headlamp automatically decreases intensity when approaching an object closer than 60 mm, preventing user glare and overheating of illuminated objects.

Operating Modes and Control Features

The control interface is implemented with a rotary-button switch on the side of the body: turning selects one of three light groups, and successive presses set the desired brightness. The headlamp has 12 modes, divided into 3 groups (4 modes in each). Depending on the power configuration, the maximum brightness can reach 1600 lm (when powered by ARB-L18-3400) or 1200 lm (when combining ARB-L18-3400 + ARB-L21-5000 V2.0).

Important! Operating time in Turbo modes is indicated taking into account the gradual reduction of brightness due to the activation of the overheating protection system when the internal electronics reach a temperature of 60°C or higher.

The interface control is simple and reliable: turn the rotary-button switch to select the light group, then press the button to set the brightness.

Power Source

The package includes a pair of rechargeable Li-ion batteries of sizes 18650 (ARB-L18-3400) and 21700 (ARB-L21-5000 V2.0). The higher capacity element can be used as an external power bank for charging other devices. The headlamp is charged via a USB Type-C port; when connecting, the cable must be rotated to lock it and prevent accidental disconnection. The charge level indicator informs about the current battery status.

Physical Parameters

The lenses are made of high-quality PC-1250Z plastic (made in Japan). The body material is a corrosion-resistant magnesium alloy (specifications state stainless magnesium alloy). The design provides impact resistance up to 2 meters. A sealing ring is used for protection against moisture and dirt – moisture protection corresponds to IP68 level (short-term immersion up to 2 m is allowed). A spare sealing ring is included. The head strap is proprietary with length adjustment; a holder for the external unit is provided with dimensions of 107.7 x 28 x 28 mm. Headlamp dimensions: 91.1 x 41 x 53.5 mm. Weight: 321 g (including two batteries and mount).
