The headlamp is equipped with overheating protection: when the electronics temperature reaches 60°C, the device automatically reduces the current brightness to cool down. Due to this, the operating time in the highest modes is indicated taking into account operation in combined mode.

Controls and Functions

Control is implemented using a dual switch on the top of the housing: a separate button for each mode group allows for quick one-handed switching. Mode changes within groups are performed with a single press (white: Low → Mid → High; warm: Eco → Low → Mid → High). Switching between groups is possible with a quick press of the second button — the lowest brightness of the selected group is activated. To prevent accidental activation, a lockout function is provided: simultaneously pressing both buttons for 3 seconds when the device is off enables or disables the lockout. Additionally, the head strap has a whistle for emergency signals.

Power and Indication

Power source — 1 x 18650 battery (a proprietary ARB-L18 3400 mAh battery is included). Permissible alternative power — two CR123A batteries.
