The lightweight and powerful Fenix HM62-T V2.0 headlamp is an optimal choice for trail running, sports training, and hiking trips when reliable illumination and night vision preservation are required. LEDs and Illumination

The headlamp is equipped with three LEDs: one white Luminus SST40 with a color temperature of 4500–5000K and two red 2835 LEDs. Each LED has a lifespan of at least 50,000 hours. The maximum brightness is 1200 lm, and the beam distance is up to 150 m. Red light and a signaling mode are provided for close-range illumination or preserving night vision.

Operating Modes

A total of 6 operating modes are available: 4 white light modes and 2 red light modes. Modes are grouped by color to avoid confusion during operation.

White Illumination Group

In low mode, the total operating time of the headlamp can reach approximately 11.5 days (up to ~280 hours), depending on settings and temperature. At maximum power, the operating mode is calculated taking into account the overheat protection.

Overheat Protection

The built-in protection circuit prevents overheating: when the electronics temperature rises to 60°C, the current brightness automatically decreases, which extends the device's lifespan and ensures safe operation. Due to this system, the calculated operating time at the highest power is combined with periods of operation at reduced brightness levels.

Control and Indication

Control is implemented with a single textured button for comfortable use even with gloves. Main actions:

• On/Off: press and hold the button for 5 s;
• Switching Light Groups: when the headlamp is off, pressing and holding the button for 5 s activates the white light group, double-pressing when off activates the red light group;
• Changing Mode: single press of the button;
• Lockout Function: press and hold the button for 3 s when the device is off (to unlock – similarly).

The button features an LED battery level indicator:

• Solid Green: 100% – 80%;
• Flashing Green: 80% – 50%;
• Solid Red: 50% – 20%;
• Flashing Red: 20% – 1%.

The color indication is activated by a quick press of the button when the headlamp is off.

Power Source and Charging

The included ARB-L18-3400U V2.0 18650 battery has no "memory effect" and operates in a temperature range from -35°C to 45°C. The manufacturer allows replacing the battery with CR123A batteries. Charging is done via the built-in USB Type-C port (cable included) and takes about 3 hours for a fully discharged cell.

Body, Dimensions, and Protection

The body is made of magnesium alloy, ensuring high wear resistance and deformation resistance. The headlamp withstands drops from a height of up to 2 m and weighs only 125 g with the battery. Device dimensions: 81.8 x 30.2 x 26 mm. The IP68 protection class guarantees complete dustproofness and operation underwater at a depth of up to 2 m for ≤ 4 hours.

Headband and Additional Elements

The headband is narrower compared to older Fenix models but provides secure fixation thanks to a patented length adjustment system: rotating the buckle instantly tightens or loosens the strap. The headband is equipped with reflective elements and an integrated whistle for signaling in an emergency.
