The Fenix HM50R V2.0 is a rechargeable, multi-functional headlamp from the Fenix brand, designed for camping, hiking, and outdoor activities. It is powered by a 16340 Li-ion battery (ARB-L16-700P battery included). The Cree XP-G3 S4 (XP-G S4) LED provides white light with a maximum output of up to 700 lumens and a beam distance of up to 115 meters, and also features red light to preserve night vision.
Operation and Modes
The headlamp is controlled by a single button on the body: to turn on white light, press and hold the button for half a second; a double press when the headlamp is off activates red light. A single click in white mode cycles through Low → Mid → High → Turbo, and the white mode is memorized. For red illumination, a single click switches between Red → Red Flash; the red mode is not memorized. Lockout function to prevent accidental activation: when off, press and hold the button for three seconds — the headlamp will flash red four times. To unlock, repeat the action.

Convenience and Safety
The headlamp features a detachable design, allowing it to be used as a handheld flashlight. A USB Type-C port is provided for charging. There is a battery level indication function: with the headlamp off, a short press of the button activates the indicator for 3 seconds — solid green light means 80–100%, flashing green 50–80%, solid red 20–50%, flashing red 0–20% (charging required). To protect against overheating, automatic brightness reduction is implemented when the body temperature reaches 60 °C or higher.

The body is made of durable A6061-T6 aluminum with high-quality anodizing (premium Type III hard-anodized finish), ensuring resistance to abrasive influences.
