LEDs and Brightness
The device has one built-in Redslight SC1818C white LED and seven sets of COB LEDs. Control
Control type is an electronic button combined with a rotary switch, located on the front of the body. To turn on: press and hold the button. A short press when the device is on switches between red modes. Brightness adjustment in group A is done by rotating the switch clockwise, in group B – counter-clockwise. It is possible to combine modes from groups A and B by rotating the switch and holding the button to simultaneously activate bottom illumination and 360° light, after which step-by-step rotation and short presses allow adjusting the brightness of each light type.
Power Source and Indication
Power is supplied by one li-ion 21700 battery (ARB-L21-5000 V2.0) included in the kit, with a capacity of 5000 mAh; the model's operating time is at least 17 days in typical use. A 18650 battery from the ARB-L18 series can be used with a special holder. To access the battery, unscrew the top cover of the body. The charge level is monitored by LED indicators above the rotary switch: 4 indicators — 100%–80%; 3 indicators — 80%–60%; 2 indicators — 60%–40%; 1 indicator — 40%–20%; 1 indicator flashing — 20%–1%. On the other side of the body, there is a plug covering two ports: an input USB Type-C for charging (charging time about 3.5 hours) and an output USB-A, which turns the device into a portable Power Bank for charging smartphones and other small electronics.
Physical Parameters and Reliability
The lantern body is made of plastic to reduce weight to 199 g (without battery). Device dimensions are 66 x 59.5 x 114 mm; the branded packaging has dimensions of 156.2 x 75 x 72 mm. The body withstands drops from a height of 1 meter without cracks upon impact on any of its 6 sides and has an IP66 ingress protection rating. The design allows for placement on a flat surface, hanging by a retractable hook-handle, and a magnet in the top cover for attachment to metal surfaces.
