EcoFlow PowerOcean Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter

The PowerOcean inverter provides a maximum output power of up to 10 kW, allowing it to simultaneously power essential household appliances such as washing machines, dishwashers, electric ovens, and other energy-intensive consumers. The device is integrated with a backup module and ensures ultra-fast automatic power switching in 20 ms, so you will barely notice a grid outage.

The inverter supports bypass mode to ensure stable power in case of its own malfunction, as well as several communication methods: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cable, and 4G. Remote OTA software updates are supported without interruption of operation. The system is compatible with the SG Ready standard for controlling heat pumps and directing excess solar energy for heating.

Battery Connection Unit

The battery connection unit serves as an interface between the battery and the inverter, coordinating energy transfer and containing safety and overload protection systems. One unit can combine from one to three 5 kWh batteries, ensuring seamless interaction between the inverter and battery packs and all necessary connectors for reliable connection.

This is an innovative high-voltage LFP battery with a nominal voltage of 800 V, designed for high safety and performance. One battery has a capacity of 5 kWh, and the battery system is easily scalable up to 45 kWh (up to three units). The manufacturer uses CATL cells and provides a 15-year warranty on the battery.

  • Each battery has a built-in DC-DC converter, allowing independent voltage conversion between 48 V and 800 V.

  • A 3-phase solar panel system can be started with just one battery unit.

Enhanced safety and reliability

  • Each battery contains an automotive TI BMS chip for safety management.

  • Cloud BMS support: cloud computing is used to proactively prevent risks and improve system performance.

Fire protection

  • Each unit is equipped with an active aerosol fire protection module with a battery temperature sensor, which activates when 270 °C is exceeded.

Design and installation

The kit features a compact and elegant matte metal casing. The battery size allows for convenient placement in a basement or garage — with a thickness of only 180 mm, saving space. The inverter and control box have hinged flaps to conceal cables.
