• Face Recognition. The system has high accuracy in detecting and recognizing faces, making it suitable for various applications such as security, access control, or attendance tracking.

• Face Database. The system supports the creation and maintenance of a network database, including processes for adding, updating, and deleting data on recognized individuals.

• Ability to tag and track individuals belonging to different categories. For example, "black" and "white" lists can be created in the database for visitor control.

• Built-in intelligent functions help detect motion, control line crossing, detect objects left or appearing in a specific area, etc.

How to properly install a video surveillance camera

For effective face detection and identification, it is recommended to place the camera in the central part of the entrance/exit, following the specified placement scheme.

The higher the camera's resolution, the further it can be installed from the face recognition point (d).

For effective face detection, the face image must have sufficient contrast and be well-lit.

The GV-tool program allows you to choose the most effective camera placement for face recognition.
To calculate the camera's location, you need to enter the following key characteristics: mode, sensor type (matrix), focus, and camera resolution.

Based on the entered parameters, the program generates a report with data for the most correct installation of the video surveillance camera.

Additional features of the video surveillance kit with face recognition

The camera is equipped with one alarm input and output, to which additional devices can be connected. This functionality allows the camera to react to various events and enables control of additional devices.
This expands the system's functionality and allows customizing the camera's reaction to various events within the video surveillance kit's field of view.

• line crossing detection;
• stationary object detection function;
• detection function for people moving in a predefined area;
• cross-counting function for the time objects or people move across virtual lines;

If a light-speech annunciator — GV-AVS-01 Microphone — is connected to the alarm and audio outputs, the installed video surveillance system will signal an alarm at the facility using light signals.
