Description of the FN-1.6U rotary tiller for tractor
Rotary tillers are used for final pre-sowing soil cultivation in a single pass, eliminating prior plowing and harrowing. This actively breaks up and mixes the topsoil, destroys weeds, incorporates crop residues and fertilizers, levels the surface, and creates optimal soil porosity and structure, which increases its biological and biochemical activity. Tillers are used both in open ground and in greenhouses, on flat surfaces and on beds, and in forest nurseries and horticultural farms. They are most effective for cultivating heavy, caking soils, cutting hummocks, and for improving and refreshing meadows and pastures.
Features of the FN-1.6U tiller:
- the FN-1.6U tiller has a reinforced design;
- the tiller blades are attached not to cantilever holders, but to steel discs reliably welded to the tiller shaft;
- the increased weight of the tiller and the increased number of blades allow for more thorough and effective soil crushing and mixing. Each tiller section has 6 replaceable saber-shaped blades, 3 right and 3 left blades arranged at a 120-degree angle;
- the blades have increased wear resistance, blade thickness is increased to 6.0 mm, and blade width is also increased to 67 mm;
- the tiller gearbox is centrally located and equipped with an output shaft with eight splines;
- the housing and tiller elements are fastened with bolted connections, indicating high maintainability.
