The Kentavr KBG258a gasoline generator was developed for users who want to save on purchase while still getting a fairly reliable product. The Kentavr KBG258a model differs from the Kentavr KBG-258 model only in that the rotor and stator windings of the electric generator in the Kentavr KBG-258a are aluminum. However, this design solution does not affect the operation or performance of the power unit.

The Kentavr KBG258a power station is intended exclusively for domestic use and can be used as a backup or emergency source of electrical energy for single-phase AC consumers.

The maximum AC power of the generator is 2.8 kVA. The Kentavr KBG258a will become an indispensable assistant in providing electricity to a dacha or country house in the absence of a stationary power grid or in an emergency. Thanks to its capacious fuel tank (15 liters), the power station can operate continuously for 11 hours without refueling. The minimum fuel consumption is 395 g/kWh.
