Orliman OCR400 is a comfortable and lightweight functional brace designed to correct morphological changes in the lower limb due to osteoarthritis. Its split design allows for anatomical adaptation to the thigh and lower leg, ensuring a personalized fit and stable fixation, which promotes comfortable wear and effective control of the knee joint during walking and physical activity.

Correction of varus or valgus axial deformities in the OCR400 model is implemented based on the principle of three points of directed pressure: a polycentric hinge and two straps form a system that corrects the joint's position. The main effect is provided by a metal insert with a polycentric hinge, located on only one side depending on the type of deformity (right and left modifications are available). The insert is equipped with an adjustable lock to set the pressure level.

The hinge has wedge stops for adjusting and limiting the range of flexion/extension. Flexion angle limitation parameters: 0°; 10°; 20°; 30°; 45°; 60°; 75°; 90°. Extension parameters: 0°; 10°; 20°; 30°; 40°. Such detailed adjustment allows for individual movement restriction to prevent hyperextension and protect damaged structures.

Two cross-over straps with color coding ensure optimal unloading of the degenerative section and facilitate correct fixation: the color code simplifies the fastening process and reduces the risk of incorrect strap placement. The design also incorporates two plastic semi-rigid cuffs, located inside the soft material — they do not directly contact the skin but guide the work of the knee brace and enhance its stabilizing properties.

The textile materials of the brace are soft, comfortable, and breathable, providing moderate compression focused on the knee joint. Silicone inserts inside prevent the brace from shifting during movement. Foamed material is used in areas of increased pressure to reduce discomfort and prevent chafing.
