The Orliman Pavlik Harness OP1170 for children is designed for conservative treatment of hip dysplasia, subluxation, or dislocation in children up to 2 years of age. The OP1170 model is created for reliable fixation of the femoral head in the acetabulum and promotes proper joint formation and muscle and ligament development at an early age.
Design Features
- soft neoprene inserts on shoulder straps to reduce pressure in the shoulder area and enhance comfort during prolonged wear;
- velour straps with precise length adjustment for a customized fit;
- easy to put on thanks to plastic buckles and hook-and-loop fasteners;
- integrated booties with securing socks that prevent accidental removal of the foot by the child or self-slipping of the foot;
- strap markings to facilitate correct and symmetrical placement of the product on the child's body;
- additional soft pads on the straps to protect the skin from friction;
- abduction strap for adjusting hip abduction as indicated and prescribed by a doctor.

Sizes (Chest Circumference)
- Size 0: 30–34 cm (newborns);
- Size 1: 34–40 cm (approximately up to 9 months);
- Size 2: 40–46 cm (approximately 9–18 months);
- Size 3: 46–54 cm (approximately up to 24 months).
Since individual development rates vary, prioritize chest circumference when choosing a size, not just the child's age.
Product Care
- hand wash with mild baby soap at temperatures up to 30 °C;
- before washing, close all hook-and-loop fasteners to avoid damage;
- dry at room temperature, do not iron, tumble dry, or expose to direct sunlight;
- do not wear the orthosis directly on bare skin — use a cotton bodysuit or light clothing; ensure that diapers or clothing do not bunch up in the groin area.
