Ajax EN54 FireProtect VAD Sounder Jeweller is a wireless addressable device that combines an audible alarm (Sounder) and a visual alarm (VAD) in one housing. The device is certified to EN 54-3 (audible alarms) and EN 54-23 (visual alarms) standards, ensuring effective fire notification even in noisy environments or for people with hearing impairments.

Upon receiving an alarm command, the device activates an audible signal with a volume of up to 100 dB at 1 meter, in accordance with EN 54-3, while a red LED frame begins to flash at a frequency of 0.5 Hz, as per EN 54-23. Both signals activate simultaneously within 3 seconds of the alarm signal being received.

The device operates via the secure Jeweller protocol (868 MHz), which provides stable two-way communication with the central panel at a distance of up to 1700 m in open space. All events, including low battery, tamper, loss of connection, and other malfunctions, are transmitted to the central hub with precise address identification.

Power is supplied by CR123A (main) and CR2032 (backup for tamper) batteries, providing autonomous operation for up to 5 years with a standard polling interval of 36 seconds.

Installation is performed using the SmartBracket mount without the need to disassemble the device. Adding to the system is done via a QR code in the mobile application. LED indicators allow for quick checking of the device status.
