Ajax EN54 FireProtect VAD Jeweller is a wireless addressable visual alarm device (VAD) certified to EN 54-23 and EN 54-25 standards. The device provides effective visual fire notification, which is critically important in noisy environments or for people with hearing impairments.

Upon receiving an alarm signal from the system, the VAD activates a red LED frame that flashes at 0.5 Hz in accordance with EN 54-23 requirements. The notification is activated within 3 seconds of the fire trigger, ensuring timely informing of people in the premises.

Communication occurs via the secure Jeweller radio protocol at 868 MHz. The stable communication range reaches up to 1700 m in open space. The device supports status monitoring: low battery, loss of connection, tamper button activation, and other malfunctions, transmitting this data to the central unit or monitoring system.

The device operates on a CR123A battery with an autonomous operating life of up to 5 years at a polling interval of 36 seconds. An additional CR2032 backup battery supports the tamper function in case of complete discharge of the main power element.

Installation is carried out using the SmartBracket bracket without the need to disassemble the device. Adding to the system is done via a QR code and a mobile application. LED indication allows for quick checking of the device status.
