The MultiRelay Fibra relay module is designed to implement complex device connection schemes. It has four relays with potential-free (dry) contacts that can control four independent circuits. Thanks to MultiRelay, various electrical appliances, mechanisms, and even security devices from other manufacturers can be integrated into the Ajax system. Automation scenarios enhance security. If an alarm is detected by another device in the system, a scenario is automatically launched, either on schedule or when the security mode changes.
Use scenarios to make life even safer and more comfortable. Automatically turn off the lights in the office when you arm the premises, or program floodlights to turn on when outdoor sensors detect an intrusion. Or simply set a convenient time for your toaster to automatically start making toast in the morning.
Ajax products are designed down to the smallest detail, making them easy to use. In the development of Fibra devices, our priority is convenience for professionals. That's why we created the universal Case enclosure, compatible with Fibra devices — such as the module. Case comes in various sizes that can accommodate two or more modules in one enclosure. This optimizes space and reduces installation costs. MultiRelay is compatible with Case2 — the module can be installed in the enclosure along with other Fibra devices.
The Case kit includes everything for installation. The holders for placing the module inside the enclosure are flexible enough: the module is installed with a single motion. A built-in level and enlarged mounting holes help the installation engineer install the enclosure perfectly accurately. Inside, there are special fasteners for cable management, and the side and rear parts of the enclosure have perforated sections for easier cable routing. We also took care of safe drilling and made indentations to better position the drill bit. Special plastic stoppers prevent damage to devices installed in the enclosure during drilling. The lid is equipped with captive screws to prevent accidental dropping of kit components during installation.
The Ajax system uses secure two-way communication based on its proprietary Fibra protocol. The protocol employs encryption and authentication during each communication session to protect against sabotage, substitution, and data theft. Fibra lines are versatile, so sirens, keypads, and sensors with photo verification support can be connected to a single line.
The Fibra protocol requires minimal energy for communication: the module consumes only up to 0.18 W at peak load. Fibra operates on the TDMA principle, which provides for each device to exchange data with the hub at a specified frequency. The rest of the time, the communication modules of the devices are inactive. This significantly reduces power consumption and helps avoid interference even when several devices communicate with the hub simultaneously.
