The goggles meet STANAG 4296 requirements and are designed to provide protection against complex threats during combat and combat training missions. The filter lenses in the kit (main CLEAR and additional YELLOW, GREY) protect the eyes from ballistic and mechanical fragments weighing 325.0 mg at a distance of 5.0 m at a speed of no less than (215 ± 5) m/s. The impact element is simulated by an A3/6723/6 imitator according to the annex to STANAG 2920.
The goggles withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 22 mm, weighing 43 g at a speed of 5.1 m/s in accordance with DSTU EN 166 "Increased robustness". They are also resistant to the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm, weighing 0.86 g at a speed of 120+30 m/s in accordance with DSTU EN 168 "Test for resistance to high-speed particles and resistance to high speed particles extremes of temperature".
