Volter 7 PTTM — Single-Phase Voltage Stabilizer
Volter 7 PTTM is a single-phase voltage stabilizer for an apartment or house with a maximum power of 7 kW, belonging to the Volter PTTM series. The stabilizer eliminates both deep voltage drops and minor surges.
The stabilizer ensures that the output voltage is unaffected by changes and surges in the input voltage, as well as by load changes. To achieve this, it contains a reference voltage source with mains frequency and a stable value, against which the stabilizer's output voltage is continuously compared.
Thanks to this design, the stabilizer does not react even to very sharp, almost instantaneous changes in input voltage and responds very quickly to any load changes. Independence from load type is also implemented — the stabilizer works equally well with active, capacitive, and inductive loads, provided the output current does not exceed the permissible value.
To prevent overheating and thermal protection activation during heavy operating conditions (full load, high ambient temperature), the stabilizer is equipped with a forced cooling system that activates when the temperature inside the device exceeds 60°C. To eliminate noise, two fans operating at low speeds are used.
