Fenix BC15R Bike Light — Compact and Powerful Solution for Bicycles

The Fenix BC15R bike light is designed for urban rides and off-road adventures: lightweight, versatile, and meticulously engineered. The model can be mounted on a bicycle handlebar or a bike helmet using Fenix ALD-08 or Fenix ALD-10 proprietary mounts (sold separately). Its ergonomic body also allows the device to be used as a handheld light source.

LED and Light Characteristics

The bike light features a cool white Luminus SST20 LED with a color temperature of 6500K and a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. The maximum brightness is 400 lumens, providing a wide and soft beam that illuminates the road without dazzling other road users. The beam distance is up to 78 meters with 1504 candelas in maximum mode.

Operating Modes

The device has four operating modes: three constant and one flashing. Brightness ranges from 50 to 400 lumens, allowing you to select the optimal mode depending on conditions.

• Medium: 150 lumens – 549 cd – 47 meters – 10 hours 30 minutes

Overheat protection is included: if the body temperature exceeds 60°C, brightness automatically decreases to protect the diode and electronics. There is also a memory function for the last constant light mode — the last used mode is activated upon power-on.

Control

Control is implemented with a single button on the top of the body for quick access while riding. A single press switches constant light modes in order from lowest to highest, a double press activates the flashing mode. The button has a built-in LED battery level indicator.

Power and Charging

Power is supplied by a built-in 18650 battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh. Charging occurs via a USB Type-C port, located on the side of the body and protected by a cover. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours. You can use the included USB-C cable or any other compatible cable for charging.

Construction and Protection

The body is made of durable polycarbonate (PC) and can withstand drops from a height of 1.5 meters. The top part has deep fins for accelerated heat dissipation. The IP66 water resistance rating ensures resistance to water, dust, and temperature fluctuations in challenging operating conditions.
