The trainer is very easy to use, making it ideal for training even in field conditions. It allows for quick and effective mastery of needle decompression for tension pneumothorax.
The trainer simulates the upper chest with precise anatomical and topographical landmarks for performing needle decompression. During training, one can clearly feel and identify the intercostal spaces (II and III), as well as the clavicle, ribs I, II, and III, and part of the sternum, which are located under a layer of silicone and made of plastic. The puncture is performed in the II or III intercostal space along the upper edge of the rib below, along the midclavicular line.
Advantages:
- Made of highly elastic silicone, allowing it to withstand a large number of punctures.
- For trainer renewal, a spare “skin” (separate option) is provided, which is applied to the trainer's surface and held firmly by silicone adhesion, significantly extending its service life.
- Easy to care for and requires no special maintenance.
