At the heart of the tractor is a proven 4-cylinder KM495 diesel engine with 50 hp (36.8 kW) and a displacement of 3170 cm³. The direct fuel injection system ensures economical fuel consumption, while the contact-oil air filter with cyclone provides stable operation in dusty conditions. An electric glow plug is provided for winter starting. A 50-liter tank guarantees a long period of operation without refueling.
