Design Features
The double-walled lid serves as a thermal bowl and prevents hands from burning while eating. Included is a protective carrying case with a handle on top and a front vertical pocket for napkins or small items. The set also includes a folding spoon made of food-grade stainless steel, which, when folded, fits into a special compartment in the upper part of the stopper.
Thermal and Performance Characteristics
The food jar ensures long-lasting heat retention: up to 12 hours in normal use. Specific test results under conditions of an initial water temperature of 95°C at a room temperature of 20°C showed the following values: 68°C after 6 hours, 54°C after 12 hours, 40°C after 24 hours. Please note: the food jar's ability to retain the temperature of prepared food may be slightly lower than for plain boiled water.
For maximum temperature retention, it is recommended to rinse the inside of the food jar with boiling water before filling and to load the hottest possible food into it.
