The Kiborg M medium-sized dangling pouch is a well-designed solution for military and tactical gear. This pouch perfectly complements your plate carrier or body armor with a hook-and-loop flap, providing convenient storage for essential small items and additional groin protection when equipped with a soft ballistic insert from Militex.

The body is made of high-quality Cordura 1000D (380 g/m²) fabric with NIR treatment, which reduces visibility with night-vision devices. The fabric has a double polyurethane coating for protection against moisture and lubricants, is flame-retardant, resistant to abrasion and fading, and maintains operational properties in extreme conditions.

The dangling pouch is equipped with a rubberized zipper with two sliders for quick opening from either side and a high-quality WJ puller for ease of use. It features hook-and-loop attachment for securing to a plate carrier or body armor, and the front panel, made with LaserCut technology, is compatible with the MOLLE system for attaching patches and additional gear.

Inside, the pouch has 3 compartments and one front compartment — a total of 4 sections for essential items. A Class 1 or 2 ballistic insert from Militex can be placed in the rear hook-and-loop pocket. An elastic band 10 cm long is sewn into the bottom of the product for attaching a tourniquet.

Militex Ballistic Inserts — Materials and Features

Ballistic inserts are soft, flexible, and lightweight panels that reliably protect against pistol rounds, small fragments, and secondary striking elements (concrete fragments, glass, etc.). The material used for the inserts is:

• Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).
• Class 2 inserts do not use additional dampeners — only polyethylene, ensuring high quality and reliability.
• Cover made of high-quality waterproof fabric — 100% nylon 170 g/m² with thermoplastic polyurethane coating.

The edges of the armor insert are ultrasonically sealed, ensuring a strong and tight material connection, which is important for the product's water and air impermeability. Ultrasonic sealing technology creates high-frequency vibrations and melts the material at the contact area, forming a reliable connection without additional seams.

A sample of the soft ballistic insert from Militex withstood firing with a 7.62×25 mm bullet with a steel non-heat-treated core in a steel jacket (pistol cartridge 57-N-134s, TT pistol) according to the requirements of Table 1, clauses 6.1.2 and 7.1.1 of DSTU 8782:2018 «Personal protective equipment. Body armor. Classification. General technical conditions. Amendment №1» for Class 2 protection. It should be noted that Class 2 refers to an equivalent composition, tested on standard laboratory samples of 400×400 mm, so non-penetrating trauma may differ depending on the size and shape of the insert.
