The Helikon-Tex® Defender Mk2 Ultralight Shirt is an ultralight short-sleeved tactical shirt from the Urban Line collection, designed for use in hot weather during hiking, camping, urban active life, or everyday wear. The model combines the anatomical cut of the classic Defender Mk2 with modern functional solutions: compatibility with low-profile ballistic vests and IWB holsters, signature Helikon-Tex® buttons, and a design that ensures freedom of movement.
Material and Ventilation
Made from breathable, quick-drying Aero-Tech fabric, 100% polyester, with a density of 84 g/m². The fabric has micro-perforations in its structure for improved ventilation, elastic properties for comfortable movement, and UPF30 protection against ultraviolet rays.
Practical Details
The shirt features two chest pockets with Velcro-fastened flaps and two additional flat "Napoleon" pockets with YKK® zippers for secure storage of small items. Ventilation inserts are provided under the armpits for additional air circulation, and there is also a glasses loop. The model weighs approximately 200 g, making it extremely lightweight for extended wear.
