TRAMP 23cm UTRA-178 Camping Axe
The Tramp UTRA-178 axe is the most compact axe in the Tramp lineup, designed for tourists, hunters, fishermen, carpenters, builders, and owners of dachas and country houses. It is ideal for felling small trees, chopping firewood, carpentry and woodworking, as well as various household and construction tasks. Its compact size allows for convenient storage in a car trunk or motorboat, while its light weight facilitates transport and use in the field.
Construction and Materials
The axe head (blade) is pressed into the handle and made of carbon steel with a PTFE (Teflon) coating, which increases cutting performance and provides additional corrosion protection. The blade has a thin and wide cutting edge with a sharpening angle of 30°, ensuring efficient and clean cuts.
The lightweight handle is made of durable, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide, which is resistant to moisture, cold, and heat. The handle features thermoplastic rubber (TPR) inserts that ensure a comfortable and secure grip; the rounded shape at the bottom of the handle prevents the axe from slipping out of hand.
The axe comes with a plastic protective sheath with a latch for convenient and safe transport and storage.
