Description of the STP-8 Vegetable Seeder for Tractors
The vegetable seeder is designed for precise row sowing of vegetable crop seeds on pre-treated and prepared soils. The STP-8 vegetable seeder can sow 8 rows simultaneously. It is perfectly suited for working with tractors with a power of 18 hp or more, equipped with a standard three-point hitch.
Using a seeder of this series significantly reduces seed material consumption, increases planting productivity and speed, and lowers labor costs for hired workers by mechanizing this labor-intensive process.
In precise sowing, the speed and uniformity of plant germination depend not only on seed quality but also on the conditions created by the seeder's working parts. The STP series seeder is equipped with openers that can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally, allowing for changes in row spacing width and seed planting depth.
The seed hoppers are made of UV-resistant transparent plastic. This allows for constant monitoring of the remaining seed material to avoid undesirable situations where the seed material runs out, leading to missed plantings. Each hopper is equipped with a lid that prevents seeds from spilling out during movement over uneven surfaces and protects them from precipitation and dirt. The hopper also has an opening for convenient removal of residual seeds after work is completed.
