Product Description: The Turkish starter pistol EKOL ARAS, manufactured by Voltran, combines a realistic appearance with a reliable design. Outwardly, the pistol closely resembles the Browning Hi-Power — a self-loading pistol with a double-action trigger mechanism, widely known simply as Hi Power. The Aras Compact Black model is designed for firing acoustic signals in self-defense situations (to scare away dogs or attract attention), as well as during sports competitions and public events.

The design of the EKOL ARAS Compact ensures ease of use and quick reloading. The large magazine allows for longer firing without frequent reloads: the magazine capacity is 15 rounds, with an additional blank round that can be kept in the chamber (15+1 parameter). The barrel of the model features a bright orange plug, which can be easily removed with an awl; such a detail can mislead an attacker, as the pistol externally resembles a live firearm. To prevent illegal modification, the manufacturer VOLTRAN inserts a steel pin into the pistol's barrel, making it impossible to convert it into a live firearm.

The pistol's frame and slide are made of metal alloy, and the grip is made of plastic. The barrel is steel and plugged; the design can only withstand blank cartridges. Signal pistols are not firearms and are sold without a permit.
