Description of the Kentavr PZP-150NP Jump Starter and Charger

The "Kentavr" PZP-150NP jump starter and charger is designed for:

• automatic charging of lead-acid, iron-nickel (Fe-Ni), nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd), nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH), lithium-ion (Li-Ion), lithium-polymer (Li-Pol), and nickel-zinc (Ni-Zn) rechargeable batteries with an operating voltage of 12 V and 24 V and a capacity of 20 Ah and above;
• starting the internal combustion engine of a vehicle with an electric starter when the battery is discharged, with an operating voltage of 12 V or 24 V and a capacity of 20 Ah and above.

The jump starter and charger can be used both in stationary conditions (at car service stations, in garages, etc.) and in field conditions as part of mobile complexes equipped with gasoline or diesel mini-power stations.

A distinctive feature of these models of jump starters and chargers is that the internal combustion engine of a vehicle can be started both with a completely discharged battery and with a preliminary partial battery recharge. Engine starting is possible due to the jump starter and charger's ability to deliver a large current, which is several times higher than the current of a regular charger.

The jump starter and charger consists of a voltage converter (transformer), an AC rectifier, an ammeter, a protection system, and control and monitoring elements.
