Umarex Walther CP88 Nickel Air Pistol (416.00.03) is a licensed replica of the Walther P88 firearm, developed by the German company Walther in 1988. The original was designed for military and police use, featuring a high-capacity double-stack magazine; P88 production ended in 1996, succeeded by the P88 Compact model. The Umarex airgun version retains the characteristic proportions and overall appearance of the prototype.

The CP88's body is made of a metal alloy with a nickel-plated matte finish, the slide and frame are metal, and the grip panels are plastic. The barrel is metal and rifled; the pistol's overall length is 180 mm, barrel length is 91 mm, and weight is 1.04 kg. The slide release lever serves a decorative function, with the appearance and feel closely resembling the combat prototype.

The pistol operates on a CO2 cartridge (power source: CO2 cartridge) and does not have a Blowback effect. The initial pellet velocity is approximately 120 m/s. The double-action trigger mechanism allows firing both in double-action and with the hammer pre-cocked; the trigger pull is soft and smooth, with a longer pull and slight effort when firing in double-action, and a small amount of free travel before the break when firing with the hammer pre-cocked.

Sights include a non-adjustable front sight and an adjustable rear sight; a special key included in the kit and an adjustment screw on the top of the rear sight are used to adjust the rear sight. It uses 4.5 mm caliber lead pellets. Ammunition is fed via an 8-pellet rotary magazine; 2 rotary magazines are included. The pistol features an ambidextrous manual safety.
