Air Pistol Borner Panther 801
Borner Panther 801 is a 4.5 mm caliber air pistol, modeled after the combat prototype Sig Sauer P232L. The model is designed for realism: the frame and slide elements are made of metal, giving the pistol weight and a solid feel in hand (weight ~0.75 kg / 750 g). The ergonomic plastic grip features texturing for a secure hold, making it comfortable to handle during prolonged use.
For greater resemblance to a firearm, the manufacturer equipped the Borner Panther 801 with a Blowback system, which simulates the movement of the slide during firing, creating a noticeable recoil. The pistol comes with a laser designator (LCP / LCU), which is activated by pressing the front part until a characteristic click; the laser can also be engaged when the trigger is pulled. The laser module has retainers on both sides and opens when the slide is removed, providing access to the internal mechanism for maintenance.
Power is supplied by a CO2 cylinder, which is installed in the grip: to insert the cylinder, slide the grip panel backward. The pistol's magazine holds 19 steel BBs; to load the magazine, the follower must be pushed down and locked, with the top of the magazine having a through-hole that needs to be covered with a finger during BB loading. The spring-loaded knob on the tightening screw fits snugly against the grip after locking.
