PCP Air Rifle ZBROIA Khortytsia 450/230 (cal. 4.5 mm, black) — a modern model from the ZBROIA brand, manufactured in Kharkiv. The Khortytsia 450/230 was introduced as a new product in late 2021 and features an updated appearance and revised design, making it highly adapted for shooting and modeling tasks. The rifle comes in a black finish, 4.5 mm caliber, designed for training and precise shots.

New Bolt System

During the development of the ZBROIA Khortytsia 450/230, emphasis was placed on speed and ease of reloading. The rifle is equipped with a new bolt system — an analog of the Fortner bolt, used in small-caliber firearms. Reloading is performed by a linear movement of the handle along the barrel axis; the bolt is cocked with the index finger, and returned with the thumb. This design allows the hand to remain on the grip, reduces reloading time, and affects the speed of serial shots.

Linear Magazine

The model comes with six linear magazines, each holding 5 pellets, providing a supply of up to 30 shots without additional retooling. The magazines are stored in a special niche on the stock, ensuring quick access. Magazine retention is implemented using a magnetic system, and the design allows monitoring the number of remaining shots due to linear displacement after each shot. The new pellet retention system in the magazine uses two-pellet retention, which reduces stress on rubber seals and improves pellet feeding accuracy at low temperatures.

Updated Stock and Ergonomics

The rifle stock is made of wood in a Monte Carlo style. The extended forend in the trigger area allows the rifle to be rested on a fist or palm in a standing position; the forend has a swivel stud hole for mounting a bipod or sling. To implement the new bolt system, the grip was shortened, and its angle was changed. The trigger guard is wooden, carved into the stock. The "flag" type safety has been moved to the receiver for the left hand.

The Picatinny rail is extended to 160 mm, as in all new ZBROIA rifles. The rifle has a standard sound moderator with a thread for installing an additional suppressor.

With factory settings in 4.5 mm caliber, the rifle has a muzzle energy of 30 J and an initial velocity of 280 ± 40 m/s (depending on the pellet type). The reservoir capacity is 230 cm3, providing up to 90 shots on a single reservoir fill. The working pressure of the reservoir is 30 MPa (300 kgf/cm2).

The barrel is made of gun steel and has 12 left-hand grooves (counter-clockwise). The twist rate is 450 mm, and the barrel length is 450 mm. The rifle is equipped with a regulator, and the filling port diameter is 6 mm. Sights are not included in the package.
