Description of the Weknife Bougie Banter WE24009-2 Knife
The Weknife Bougie Banter WE24009-2 knife is a premium folding pocket tool from the Weknife brand, created in collaboration with designer Ben Petersen. The model combines a strict geometric design with thoughtful ergonomics: the straight line of the handle and the Drop Point blade ensure a comfortable grip and reliable control during cutting, while a weight of only 85.6 g makes the knife easy to carry.
The blade is made of CPM S45VN powder steel, which is highly valued for its increased corrosion resistance and transverse impact toughness. The steel hardness is 59–61 HRC, which ensures long-lasting sharpness retention. The surface is treated with a stonewash method, which masks minor signs of use, scratches, and fingerprints.
The handle and small elements are made of 6AL4V titanium, which guarantees high strength with minimal weight. A titanium clip (6AL4V titanium) is attached to the right side of the handle, there is a lanyard hole at the tail of the handle, and visual accents in the form of blue coating on the thumb stud, pivot assembly, and screws emphasize the uniqueness of the model.
The knife is opened using a two-sided thumb stud, the blade's movement is ensured by ceramic bearings, which makes opening smooth and fast. The knife has a thumb ramp on the spine for additional control during power cutting. The locking mechanism is a Crossbar Lock, in which the blade is fixed by a steel pin; the system is convenient for both right and left hands.
