The Black Void Opus series of folding knives was designed by Justin Lundquist and released in 2020, complementing Weknife's professional line of multi-purpose tools. The 72.2 mm blade is made of American CPM 20CV powdered steel, which contains a high concentration of chromium (approximately 20%), ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance. The steel is characterized by high impact toughness, resistance to chipping and deformation, and long-lasting edge retention. The steel hardness is approximately 59-61 HRC. The blade finish is stonewash, which provides an anti-glare function.

The blade thickness is 3.2 mm. The blade deploys from the handle using a front flipper, which is convenient to press with the thumb or index finger. The pivot assembly features ceramic bearings for smooth and fast opening. The locking mechanism is a simple and reliable liner lock.

The handle consists of 6AL4V titanium scales combined with green G10 fiberglass inserts. Small details are also made of titanium alloy, which reduced the overall weight of the knife to 78.4 g while maintaining the strength and rigidity of the construction.

A two-position titanium pocket clip is provided for securing the knife to a pocket. Although there is no lanyard hole in the body, paracord or cord can be easily secured to the stand-off located at the end of the handle.
