The open blade is secured by an Ambi Lock (Crossbar Lock) with a transverse spring pin, allowing the knife to be safely folded while keeping fingers out of the blade's path.
The handle is made of aluminum with milling and a convex pattern for better grip and comfort during prolonged use. For carrying on a pocket or gear, a steel two-position Ambi-clip is installed, which can be repositioned to either side of the handle; a lanyard hole is also provided.
