Ruike P831S-SA Folding Knife — Description and Features
The all-metal folding knife Ruike P831S-SA is an updated version of the best-selling P831-SF from the Ruike brand. This pocket tool combines high cutting quality, compact transportability, and aesthetic design. The model received a key update: instead of a two-sided thumb stud, a steel flipper tab has been installed, allowing the blade to be quickly deployed from the handle with a single press.

The 85mm blade features a reverse tanto profile with an extended straight cutting edge and a sharp tip, allowing for both cutting and piercing tasks. The blade spine thickness is 3.1 mm.
The blade material is Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel with approximately 14% chromium and 0.1% nitrogen. The metal has undergone cryogenic treatment, increasing its hardness to 57-59 HRC. The final sandblasting finish gives the blade a matte surface that conceals fingerprints and shallow scratches and improves the strength of the cutting edge. At the same time, it is recommended to keep the blade clean and dry after use to avoid corrosion spots.
Opening is smooth thanks to a ball bearing made of high-carbon chromium steel; a reliable frame lock is used to secure the blade, accompanied by a characteristic click when the blade is set in the open position. The full length of the knife is 195 mm.
The handle is made of 3Cr14N stainless steel, its length of 110 mm provides a comfortable grip. A metal clip for pocket carry is located on the right side, and there is a round lanyard hole at the tail. The model's weight is 93 g.
