Description of the Ruike P801-G Folding Knife
The Ruike P801-G knife is an updated, lighter version of the P801-SF series bestseller, designed for daily EDC use and tourism. The Ruike brand retained the familiar design with a Drop Point blade profile in this model but made the handle more ergonomic and reduced the weight to 86 g, making the tool more comfortable for prolonged carrying and work. The blade is made of Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel, which combines approximately 0.62% carbon for strength and about 14% chromium for increased corrosion resistance. Thanks to cryogenic treatment, the blade achieves a hardness of 57-59 HRC, ensuring good edge retention and long tool life. In the final stage, the blade surface undergoes stonewash treatment, acquiring a matte appearance that hides fingerprints and minor scuffs; additionally, the blade has a black coating that emphasizes the model's external style.
The Ruike P801-G is equipped with a frame lock, a bearing for smooth blade action, and several opening options — via a flipper or a thumb stud integrated on both sides of the blade, making operation convenient for both right-handed and left-handed users. If heavy-duty work is required, the knife features a ribbed thumb ramp. The blade grind is plain.
The handle is made from a combination of stainless steel and impact-resistant green G10 fiberglass; the G10 plate has a textured surface for a secure grip. A single-position clip for carrying is attached to the steel part of the handle, and a lanyard hole is also provided.
