The Civivi Sendy is a compact yet versatile folding knife from the Civivi brand, created in collaboration with renowned designer Ben Petersen. The model combines a practical Drop Point blade profile, premium materials, and thoughtful ergonomics, making it an excellent EDC tool for everyday and travel tasks.
The blade is made of Nitro-V steel, hardened to 58–60 HRC. The blade's matte finish is stonewashed, and the grind type is flat. This combination ensures long-lasting sharpness retention, ease of resharpening, and corrosion resistance. For quick and smooth opening, a pivot assembly on ceramic bearings is used, allowing opening by pressing the steel flipper.
The handle is made of natural Guibourtia (bubinga) wood, which adds aesthetics and a warm texture to the product while ensuring a secure grip. The wood scales are secured on both sides of the handle for stability and durability. The Liner Lock mechanism reliably secures the blade in the open position.
The knife is equipped with a two-position Tip-Up steel clip for deep pocket carry, which is convenient for urban use. Hidden in the tail of the handle are useful accessories: tweezers and a toothpick, which add functionality in everyday situations.
